Healthy56258 partnered with SMSU’s Wellness Work Group and the SMSU Exercise Science Club for a special walk to promote World Day for Physical Activity Thursday, April 6. Stanger led the group around campus for a 20-minute walk, and several other organizations joined the cause by leading their own walks.
It’s recommended that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise every week. Moderate aerobic exercise includes activities such as brisk walking, swimming and mowing the lawn.
